"The book is a film that takes place in the mind of the reader." ~ Paulo Coelho

Coming Soon

Hello!
This is a page for me to put movie trailers on movies that I am excited to see and upcoming blogathons. Check these out!

Upcoming Movies:

Wicked: Part One (2024)
I recently saw the musical on Broadway and was very impressed! I still haven't watched the trailer for this (because I wanted to surprise myself with the Broadway version) but I might get to it one of these days. If I don't then it's because I'm trying to preserve my memory of it on Broadway...
Release date: November 27, 2024.

Snow White (2025)
Snow White is one of my favorite fairytales. So much so, that my first novel I ever wrote was a retelling of it. There have probably been too many of these, but I DON'T CARE. I love it. And Gal Gadot as The Evil Queen?? Ack!!!
Release date: March 21, 2025

Wicked: Part Two (2025)
Ditto to Part One.
Release date: 2025

I don't know if this is due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, but I'm not interested in most of the movies coming out. There's going to maybe be a third Knives Out, but I haven't seen the second one yet so I can't speak to that. This gives me a good opportunity to focus on classic movies, then!

  1. I am SO EXCITED to see "Murder on the Orient Express"! There are a bunch of great movies coming out this year--"Spider-Man: Homecoming" (only three more days!), "The Last Jedi" (YAY!!!!), "Thor: Raganork" ( I definitely did not spell that right, and I'm not sure if it's exactly coming out this year), "Wonder" and another one that I can't remember. :) Love your blog!

    1. Yes! "Murder on the Orient Express" is one of my favorite books by Agatha Christie so I'm excited to see how they do, and it is directed by Kenneth Branagh another bonus.
They have and are turning out a LOT of superhero movies this year! It will be fun to see which is best. :)

Thank you so much for checking my blog out Allison!

  2. Hi! Just curious, I notice you like some Studio Ghibli, but do you watch any other anime at all? If not, I definitely recommend some with the most touching and wholesome, feel good and rip your heart out kind of stories!

To comment, or not to comment? That is the question. Whatever you decide, I would love to hear from you!! I am always open to suggestions, advice, and any other comments! Even if you don't agree with me, I would love to hear from you as long as you keep the comment respectful and on subject. And, please, no swearing. I love comments on old posts!!
My computer won't let me leave comments, so it might take a few days, but I will reply!
